bulletCemetery Volunteer Clean Up Day
Sat, May TBA

The City cemetery needs lots of TLC. Our small community cemetery has no specific, budget line item, and our crew does what we can to keep the lawn mowed. However, we rely on volunteers and family members to assist in caring for the cemetery to hold it to the standards desired. Each spring, we host a Volunteer Day to encourage folks to roll up the old proverbial sleeves and get to work. Our crew will line out easy-to-complete projects such as clean up, weeding, raking, watering, etc...  We will also provide the tools and some refreshing ice water and snacks.
224.4055
.

Please help us clean things up before Memorial Day, May 31.

This is a great agency or church-family project, for those interested.

For those who are associated with service agencies, Volunteer Day is also the perfect time to get to work in the other, privately owned cemeteries, if you prefer to do that instead: Pioneers, American Legion and Masons won't refuse the offer of a helping hand. Be sure to coordinate your efforts through the Chairs of their specific committees before you begin work.
