Children of all ages are invited to attend a free marionette performance of Rumplestiltskin presented by Steven’s Puppets on Saturday, June 15^th at 7:00pm.  This fast paced, action filled rhyming rendition of a classic tale is 45 minutes long.  Steven’s Puppets tours fully-staged productions of fairy tales & classic children’s literature featuring hand-carved wooden marionettes in front of colorfully hand-painted scenery.

The "earthquake movie" "Waves Over Seward" shows Monday through Saturday at 2pm.

Admission is $3 ($2 with Museum Admission).

Children 12 and under are free, with an adult, to both the Museum and the movie.

The Summer Reading Program Kick-Off Party will take place at Seward Community Library Museum on Saturday, June 1^st from Noon-2pm. There will be free hotdogs, cake and games for preschool & elementary school students.

Students entering Kindergarten through 6^th grade can register to earn prizes for reading.  Preschoolers are invited to participate in a special reading program sponsored by the Imagination Library.

Middle and High School Students can participate in the Teen Reading Raffle by submitting an entry for each book read during the program. The Teen Reading Raffle will consist of weekly prize drawings, and a grand prize drawing for a Kindle Fire on July 28th.  The Summer Reading Program will run from June 1^st to July 27^th.  Please contact the Library Museum at 224-4082 with any questions.
