The City of Seward Council approved and adopted the Seward Small Boat Harbor Area Planning and Development Guide (Plan N Revision 2 below) on May 12, 2003 (Resolution 2003-32 [click to download]).

Engineers for the Small Boat Harbor, Tryck Nyman & Hayes, are preparing the first phase development plan that will include the east harbor floats, moving X float and the fuel dock, and replacing D float. This first phase development plan will be reviewed by the PACAB and City Council later this summer.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is scheduled to bid and award a contractor for the breakwater construction, which will begin in the fall.
