The New Small Boat Harbor Area Planning and Development Guide gains council approval.

The City of Seward (City) began a master plan, now called a Planning and Development Guide, for the harbor area covering everything from parking to slip layout in the new east harbor expansion area. The guide will provide a roadmap the City can use for many years in the future to improve facilities for harbor users and folks on the waiting list and for the many Alaskans and visitors that come to Resurrection Bay, Prince William Sound and Kenai Fjords National Park.

We want to thank the many harbor users, local residents and elected officials for their input and support as the guide was developed. The guide gradually developed in response to comments received at public meetings in November, December, January and May as well as input from a November questionnaire. We’ve just updated this web page with Plan N Revision 2 that has just been approved by the City Council. (See All Plans).
